Sabre Well Servicing Inc. (“SWS”) began constructing new mobile class III service rigs in the spring of 2006. SWS implemented a plan with a focused aggressive approach and by September of 2009 we were operating eight service rigs. In 2010 the ninth rig was added to our fleet.

SWS is Western Canada’s premier independent well servicing contractor providing clients with exceptional personnel, equipment and customer service. Based in Clairmont and Brooks Sabre’s nine Class III Free Standing Mobile Service Rigs have been proudly serving Alberta and British Columbia since 2007.

Dale Tingley

Mr. Tingley is an independent businessman and became a Director of the Corporation in July, 2016. Mr. Tingley has been instrumental in the funding and management of numerous private and public companies, as both an owner and investor. Mr. Tingley was integral to Sabre’s founding in 2006 and to this day remains Sabre’s largest shareholder. Other businesses of which Mr. Tingley has been an owner or an executive of include Dale Tingley Motors, Canwest Leasing, Deer Valley Ranch Inc., and Canadian Outdoor Publishing.


S. Reid MacDonald

Mr. MacDonald has over 35 years’ experience in the oilfield service industry. Mr. MacDonald currently serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Northern Silica Corporation. Prior to that Mr. MacDonald was the Chief Operating Officer of GasFrac. From January 2006 to March 2010, Mr. MacDonald served as Vice-President and General Manager of Nabors Blue Sky, a subsidiary of Nabors Industries, an oilfield service company listed on the New York Stock Exchange. From September 2002 to December 2005, Mr. MacDonald was Vice-President of Airborne Energy Solutions, an air transportation company in the energy field. Mr. MacDonald was also Vice-President Marketing for Crown Energy Technologies from 1998 to 2002, President of Maritime Hydraulics (Canada) from 1996 to 1998, and prior to that he worked with Nowsco Well Service as the head of Worldwide Pumping Services.


Thomas D. Wood

Mr. Thomas Wood currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Round-Up Resource Service Inc. (a private investment firm). Mr. Wood founded Xtreme Drilling Corp. (also known as Xtreme Drilling and Coil Services Corp.) and served as its Chief Executive Officer. He is also the founder of Savanna Energy Services Corp. and has served as the President of Round-Up Well Servicing Inc. from 1988 to 1997. He has also served as the President of Plains Energy Services Ltd. from 1997 to 2000. Mr. Wood holds a BA Economics from the University of Calgary.


Dennton C. Fahl

Dennton Fahl was appointed Executive Chairman of Sabre in January of 2016. Mr. Fahl is also the President of BlackSun Inc., a web hosting, data storage, and co-location company headquartered in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. For 15 years Dennton has also served as a financial advisor at Midland Walwyn, Merrill Lynch and National Bank Financial. During this time Dennton has been an advisor to the management of companies such as Savanna Energy Services Corp., TrigPoint Solutions, and Xtreme Drilling Corp. Dennton holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan.


Dave Southerland (Advisor to the Board)

With more than 30 years of oilfield experience, including the role of past President of SWS, Mr. Southerland has held a number of senior positions with well servicing companies including General Manager / CEO of Great Plains Well Servicing a division of Savanna Energy Services Corporation, Manager of Business Development of Frontier Well Servicing, President of the well servicing division (“Round-Up Well Servicing”) at Plains Energy Services. Mr. Southerland’s vast experience is invaluable to Sabre to continue to provide market leading conventional service rigs.
